As of when I typed this up, there's no work posted yet, but as soon as I post this I'm going to start uploading my portfolio work-slowly. As that seems to be the secret of getting more views overall.

Well, I've been bogged down by a series of small problems-and then my comp kind of died.

That's fixed, so my tech problems are mostly solved. Although now I'm working 5 days a week and have less time to do everything. ><

And while making a new DA account doesn't take long, there is a list of things I need done before I'm ready to put all my professional work online.

So sit tight, more works are on the way, and for those of you who've magically seen all of my recent work-I'm working on a couple new illustrations, so you'll see some new stuff too.

Sorry for the wait.

My solo show went well, school's done, and now it's time to be professional. (Kind of sucks, in a scary/exciting sort of way). And now I am forced to make some changes.

I absolutely hate it when people deactivate their DA accounts/delete their old work. It defeats the main purpose of putting things online in the first place-exposure as an artist.

At the same time, as a professional, I can't go around showing off my underdeveloped high school work to potential clients. And my user name isn't marketable-never was.

There's actually a longer list of dilemmas, but I won't bore you with it all. Here's the plan;

This account will remain open and maintained as best I can manage with everything else I will be doing.

A new, professional account is on it's way. There will be a link to it in my journal for any watchers that want to follow my newer works/anyone who stumbles onto this account, but the professional account will not have a link back to here. That fixes the clients seeing high school problem without completely cutting off my watchers.

I thought so, now I'm off to work on my ever growing to do list.

Aside from some experimental minis now and then, my gallery will not be getting any new submissions for a while. I'm currently working on creating work for an upcoming show, so while I've got several new pieces, none of them will be displayed online-at least not until after the show.

Sorry if this is disappointing to anyone, but my offline life takes priority.

I will still be frequently checking on my gallery, commenting, and faving as normal though.

Finals are all done and the holidays are officially over-it's time to get to work on stuff for next semester.

In theory, I'm graduating this Spring-in theory. I currently have a running mental list of things that could go wrong and result in me still being in college until a year from now, but there's nothing I can do about any of that right now, so it's off to work I go.

Part of next semester will be an art show which means I've got to come up with a show's worth of work. Since this is my chance to really show what I'm capable of I've go some big ideas that I'm determined to make work. Hopefully this whole thing ends well. ^^
